When nuclear power plant accidents occur, the radioactive isotopes released into the environment should be calculated within a very short time to predict the extent of contamination, which is the basis for command decision-making in emergent response. Relational database information technology is employed in the system to meet the demands of the above situations. This system can be running on laptop computer to provide an easy-setup and easy-operation for rapid assessment in radiation dose of release isotopes. This system after evaluation and uses through the processes using same datum of the real accidents of nuclear power plant is proved to be satisfied for a rapid response in command decision-making. Thus the results of this paper showed a basic modeling that is good as well for dealing with problems in other similar information management case studies.
