All these challenges may be achieved by the implementation of knowledge management. Furthermore, a well-managed quality will now become a competitive advantage to attract more customers. Thus, a comprehensively and properly implemented quality system is the best means for a company to ensure that its products and services will consistently meet customer needs. Since ISO 9000 quality management system has prevailed among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) all over the world, and it has common factors and relationships with knowledge management system to some extents, to facilitate knowledge management practices by way of ISO 9000 quality management system for SMEs may be expected.   This study aims to explore the interrelationships between knowledge management system and quality management system, and to facilitate both knowledge management and quality management practices for small and medium-sized enterprises by way of the prevailed ISO 9000. Three models facilitating knowledge management practices for small and medium-sized enterprises, introduction model, process model and knowledge management architecture, will be built after the exploration of interrelationships between these two management systems.
