The study built up its research framework and obtained its variables by literature review and then proposed seven hypotheses, following analyzing the relationships between variables. 300 questionnaires were issued and 69 were effective . Research methods such as canonical correlation analysis regression analysis were conducted. The study concludes: 1.The product development manager power weight has a positive impact on information technology application and concurrent engineering . 2.The product development manager power weight has no impact on new product development performance. 3.Concurrent engineering has a positive impact on new product development performance. 4.Concurrent engineering has a positive impact on new product development performance.
