Factories‘ exterior wall are using sandwich panel.The research purpose is to understand how sandwich panel is used in high tech factories’ exterior wall, to find solutions to the problems, which happened during each construction process, and to provide reference for improving quality in Taiwan’s building business.
By literature review, we know the construction behavior about sandwich panel and high tech panel, and induce the assessment factors , as follow, cost,work days, performance, quality, interface, and regulations. By field survey,finding the related problems in plan, design, construction, use process, and faults in the cases. After analyzing the data , we try to give some improvement solution.
After the research, we know that sandwich panels were suitable for high tech factories’ exterior wall when they need a cover work days, and sandwich panels can also meet the fire proof hour demand of insurance companies. The main drawbacks were its poor quality in waterproof. By giving some solutions to the construction process and feedback to the planning and designing process as references for the building business.
