Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 中國語文學系 === 92 === Abstract: There are six chapters of this thesis. Researcher studies the development of New Literary Movement under the leading of Taiwanese Culture Association when it was enlightened with the political reformation of Taiwan during 1920 to 1927.The researching subjects included the Minpao groups which combined with magazines of “Youth of Taiwan”, “Taiwan”, “The Taiwan Minpao”…etc. We focus on articles in this group which discussed about culture, literature and languages. Researcher also analyzes the role of contemporary intelligentsia from magazines Ren-Ren (it means everybody) and Taiwan Shi Hui (it is a name of a magazine ), and the meaning derived from New Literary Movement which impacted by the ideas of people resistance and the waves of colonized modernizations. From the whole thesis I want to tell four main points. The first one is how new intelligentsia was influenced by the tide of world history so as to change from the armed resistance against the governing of Japanese colonists to the politic-social movement, and how it made the enlightenment happened by individual consciousness of themselves. And the second one is to find how the New Literary Movement went with people-consciousness and people self-determination to establish the union from culture, literature and language, and then created the practical cultural ideas to initiate reforming the written text to oral text so they could deliver the resistance ideas within articles to normal people. The third one is to discuss the essences of literature from the conflict between old style cultural ideas and new style colonized modernizations. The last point is to analyze the editorials of Minpao to identify the relationship from the resistance ideas of New Literary Movement theories and how it worked with the individual modification within people writings.
