Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班工業工程與管理組 === 92 === This research uses the concepts of five forces analysis proposed by Porter and core competence analysis proposed by Prahalad to formulate an operation strategy for a software company, whose main business is to provide customized software. The five force analysis is to justify “how good is the business?” Analysis results show that the industry is migrating from a growing stage to a mature stage. The core competence is to reveal “how to play well in the business?” Analysis results show that domain knowledge (knowledge about customers’ operations), rather than information technology platform, has been identified as the core competence of the company.
