By researching on how to use the Function Point idea to measure the complexity of software developed through object-oriented methods, we make applicable software tools. At the same time, we compare the differences among the methods, trying to propose some new ones. The software tools presented in this research can dynamically modify counting rules, enabling the users to realize the diversity of measurement results from different methods. Moreover, from the previous experiences of software development, we can identify the most appropriate method of measurement, and apply it to the whole software development process.
