Key component of wind profilier - printed Yagi antenna design

碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 92 === The goal of the thesis is to study the effects of many arguments, including the dimensions and the feeding structure of the printed Yagi antenna, on the center frequency, mid-band gain, and front-to-rear(F/R) ratio. Then, the guidelines of the antenna design will...

Then, the guidelines of the antenna design will be proposed based on the simulation results. Basically, using the traditional configuration of the printed Yagi antenna, the mid-band gain or the F/R ratio cannot be improved without scarifying the other. Therefore, at the end of the thesis, a novel reflector formed by multiple dipoles is proposed. Through simulations and measurements, it is found the proposed configuration highly improves the F/R ratio while the mid-band gain remains almost unchanged.
