Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 92 === ABSTRACT This research was aimed at exploring the effectiveness of cooperative learning in terms of enhancing junior high students’ information skills in the nine-year curricula plan. To accomplish the research objective, this research adopted the unequal group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design and selected 39 students from Class 302 and 40 students from Class 303 of the 2003 school year from Public Da Tsun Junior High School in Changhua County as the research objects. The former was the experimental group while the latter the control group. The experimental group adopted cooperative learning and the control group followed the traditional didactic instruction for an eight-week experimental teaching. The materials used included Computer Basic Cognition Pretest, Computer “Internet and Communication” Learning Achievement Posttest and Computer Learning Attitude Questionnaire. This research adopted Frequency Distribution, Independent Sample t-Test, Analysis of Covariance and Descriptive Statistics to verify each research assumption. Specifically speaking, this research came to the following results and suggestions. 1. Students with cooperative learning had a much more significant performance on the Computer Learning Achievement Test than those under traditional didactic instruction. 2. Class with cooperative learning had much stronger learning motivation than that under traditional didactic instruction. 3. Class with cooperative learning did not show much difference from that under traditional didactic instruction in classroom climate. 4. Results showed that cooperative learning is better than traditional didactic instruction in both the academic performance and the learning motivation of junior high students toward the computer class and as far as classmate climate is concerned, students with cooperative learning also showed a positive reaction. Therefore, it is recommended to widely apply cooperative learning to junior high computer class. Keyword: cooperative learning, junior high computer class, learning motivation, classroom climate
