The plan of cutting off the HVAC load directly can be applied to reduce the peak load during summer season efficiently, but the problem of discomfort need to be solved. The ice storage central air conditioning system stores up a large amount of cooling water, and discharges cool air during off shift of DLC. This device not only reduces the peak load, but also keeps comfort. This paper adopts the standard of the thermal comfort from the ANSI/ASHERE standard 55-1992. The BPNN controller deals properly with nonlinear problems like air condition. Combining ice storage central air conditioning system increases cooling capacity. This method can reduce the peak load during summer, and balance thermal comfort reasonably during off shift of DLC.
