碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 視覺藝術研究所 === 92 === The “Spirit and Things Unify” is soul consciousness and natural harmonious relation. The artist creates with the natural subject matter, express that the inherent natural view is the behavior of that “Spirit and Things Unify”. The nature is what the life depending on; all species cannot live without nature, especially human beings. Art is the conscience of the human civilization, as the art worker, how to go through the artistic creation and showing to the natural pondering over, is a worth discussing subject. “All species watched quietly are self-satisfied.” The artist uses the vision language of painting, to present various kinds of impressions of heart, I, because of the influence of growth environment, as to having deeper experience naturally, the spirit blending with soul and natural, become the creation idea that I pay close attention. It is not merely the author to natural singing the praises of the “Quiet Field” displayed, and also express soul to maintain the feeling with gratitude the mother of the life and think the meaning of self-existence. The artistic creation is promotion and reflection of the life limits. The artist's works is the public notice of the life, soul reveals and ideal realization. The artist reflects everything we see with soul. It shows subjective life sentiment and the objective natural scene mingled. I hope to regard this as the goal in creation and study, transmit myself to natural pondering over and care with painting. This thesis tries to distinguish the essence that human soul interacts with natural environment through the discussion in theory of philosophy. Probe into natural view and artistic creation relations on “Spirit and Thing unify”, and construct the idea of personal creation in order to as the basis of creation and practice. Chapter 1： The thesis explains the motivation and purpose of the individual creates studied, research method , step and noun interpretation. Chapter 2： Discussion of the theoretical foundation. Including (1) natural view of the idealism (2) natural view of the materialism (3) natural view of the “Heart, Thing unify” Trying to research the questions of spirit and things through east and west philosophy, to examine people’s original natural view; Chapter 3：Constructing the creation idea of the “Quiet Field” Including (1) “empty” and the “lonely” (2) “quiet” and “field” (3) The “Quiet Field” and “Spirit and Thing unify” (4) The “Quiet Field” and artistic expression. To explain individual creating idea intension from inside the soul to outside, expand progressively to the natural aspect. Chapter 4：Analyzing the creation practice of “Quiet Field”. Including (1) display content, (2) form of expression, and (3) display skill and technique and media material. (4) The major works annotation. From the relevant theory of art to analyze the activity of creating activities, and explain the relations between to the idea of creating and the practice of creating according to the subject content and style skill of the work. Chapter 5：Conclusions, To conclude the motive and the purpose of study, also the processing of thesis writing and the creating practice, and propose the experience of this research: Purpose 1：through the theory discussion to understand the philosophical foundation of the personal natural view, depending on the ideological system “Spirit and Things Unify” Purpose 2：performing the vision art theory and turn the conscious creation idea into works in order to symbolize quiet realm on “Spirit and Things Unify” Purpose 3：using compound media material to create and to present the idea of the creation appropriately. Final：According to the result of research , propose the expected directions of the personal future development :It can be more extensive that the subject matter of the “Quiet Field” appeared, it doesn’t need to be confining to the description of the natural scene. (2) Try more material skin texture of the complex media material in wide area. (3) Try doing more various changes of two-dimensional construction in order to increase plentiful creations and build up personal art style.
