The optical system was designed to match the f number of the grating (6.4) with the f number of the lenses (6) in the spectrometer. The spectrometer utilizes either a 2400 grooves/mm or 1200 grooves/mm grating to diffract the scattered light and a 1024×256 pixels(26.624mm×6.656mm)charge-coupled device for detection. An external filter(Holographic SuperNotch-plus, Kalser optical system)was used to remove residual laser lines. The automatic control graphic interface program was written to control the monochromator, charge-coupled device and for Raman spectrum data acquisition. After the completion of the Raman spectrometer setup, three different types of samples: silicon wafer (power film), CaO:H2- (solution) were used as standards for Raman data acquisition and calibration.
