| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立花蓮師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 92 === This thesis is composed of three sections to narrate and explore the author’s journey of gender consciousness-awakening and practice. The first part 「Enlightenment：the first experience with feminism」，it depicts researcher’s experiences and processes in encountering feminism both in school and family；the second part 「Exploration：the feminist consciousness and practice」：through the practicing process in campus, I re-experience the power feminism display , and examine the predicament and solution of raising gender issues in campus；the third section「Meaning：experince, context, analysis, voicing and Empowerment」：after the first two stages, I restructure the meaning and significance of feminism in my consciousness-awakening and implementation journey.
The goals of this research are：firstly,「the subject voicing」：through narrating、collating、and self-reflecting on personal experience, my experience can be presented in a subjective form, instead of in a marginal and the others’ form；secondly, 「to see oneself through oneself」：it clarifies how I create the unique space for gender implementation for myself, under the relationship and social cultural context that myself located； and the last, 「to see oneself through others’ perspective」, through the thesis text, I hope to generate readers’ resonance and self-reflect their own condition and reactive strategy.
「Empowerment」, which I mention several times in this work, is the first and the ultimate concern of this research. The term「empowerment」has two meanings in this project：first, the researcher’s acknowledgement of the gender equality throughout the pursuing process, it’s not only to argue for one’s own rights, but further to argue for the justice derived from love and caring for every human being, no matter women or men. Second, I expect to resonate those who, in their young ages, wonder in the road of becoming feminist：when facing various obstacles, do not give up easily, try to find out the reason of giving-up, to look for all kinds of opportunities to change our misunderstandings and fears toward feminism, and to give ourselves and feminism a chance.
