The quasi- experimental design was conducted. The object of study was targeted to 73 junior students of two classes in a three-year of vocational night high school in central Taiwan. They were divided into one experimental group (37 people) and one control group (36 people) for test teaching. The researcher in person taught the life program two sessions every week to the students of the experimental group for 12 weeks (24 hours); however, the students of the control group did not receive any of such instructions. The “purpose in life test”(PIL) were used to evaluate pre-intervention and post- intervention achievement and a follow-up test. The data were analyzed by using the one-factor analysis of covariance with the SPSS10.0 statistics software package. Hypotheses were also tested through analysis of semi-structural questionnaires as well as in-depth interviews. Besides, the researcher used Unit Learning Sheet, Program Feedback Form, Inter-view Records and Learning Achievements of Students as assistant tools to evaluate the performance of implementing the life program.     The results of this study were as follows:   1. The post-intervention evaluation shows that life programs could significantly increase the score on the sub-scale “the purpose of life” but could not significantly increase, “the value of life” and “the sincere of life”.   2. Two months after intervention, the experimental group was still scores higher than the control on the sub-scale, “the purpose of life” and “the value of life” of the PIL. However, the experimental group could not significantly score higher on a sub-scales ,“the sincere of life”.   3. According to Unit Learning Sheet, Program Feedback Form, Interview Records and Learning Achievements of Students collected from the experimental group, this life program is suitable for students at a vocational night high school.   4. Life programs had positive influences to the students of the experimental group on ife-meaning attitude   5. Teaching can achieve excellent results via diversified applications of teaching software.   6. Life programs was highly accepted by the students at vocational night high school.   7. It is practical to complement life education at vocational night high school.
