Description
Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 非營利事業管理研究所 === 92 === This thesis aims to study the organizational performance of day care centers in Taichung County. Three goals are therefore included as: (1) conceptual framework firstly should be clarified and contented for delivering day care service quality, (2) assessment criteria would be constructed as measured indicators, and (3) outcome indices were consequently employed as evaluation dimensions. Empirical data were derived from annual appraisal programs in Taichung local authority. Accompanying questionnaires surveyed by chief administrators were collected and analyzed accordingly. 159 of 248 questionnaires were composed as the valid databank for data analysis in this research. Basic descriptives for each single variable were produced at the beginning. Such illustrated research construct consists of factor analysis, multiple regression, and analysis of variance(ANOVA). These analyzed procedures were used to clarify the genuine relationship between measurement and construct framework. Three constructed measured criteria for performance quality and other demographics were used as research variables in this purposed analysis for illustrating their relationship. These interrelated service quality indices are named as: Administration, Curriculum and Activity, and Sanitation. Employers of each day care center held a positive identity and commitment attitude towards their careers within the organization’s prospective development. Such contextual variable as organizational size was also a good predictor to service quality. Among all, quality of Curriculum and Activity played the most influential role upon the quality of day care service delivery to children. Therefore, a competency-based training for day care/nursery curriculum and activity in these service centers was strongly recommended. This study however provided a substantial evidence for improving service quality. Particularly, the responsibility for social business in nonprofit organization would be recognized as the promising expectation for every day care center not in local areas of Taichung county but elsewhere.
