The literature exam and questionnaire survey were utilized to acquired needed data. Firstly, literature exam encompasses research findings from both domestic and abroad, theories and practices regarding school-based management and the school organization culture . Secondly,questionnaire developed by the author, were administered to 698 school representatives, randomly selected from 43 elementary schools in Pingtung County. The data were analyzed and presented as descryiptive statistics, the Pearson product-moment correlation, independence sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple stepwise regression. Findings from the analyses are summarized as follows: 1.The implement of school-based management exists the certain restrict and obstacle in elementary school school,still there is the space to promotes and raise the degree of the implement of school-based management. 2.The degree of the implement of school-based management suffers the influence of the background of schools and teachers. 3.The elementary school teachers embrace the positive attitude to the characteristics of school organization culture. 4.The characteristics of school organization culture suffers the influence of the background of schools and teachers. 5.The school-based management and the characteristics of school organization culture hand over to affect with each other,and relate to closely Ching-Shiun Chang 張慶勳 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 262 zh-TW
