Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to compare push kick and side kick of martial arts. Four martial arts Shanshou national team athletes participated as subjects. The striking power of the side-stamp and side-kick were measured with AcqKnowledge Biopack system. And 2 Redlake motion scope 1000 high-speed cameras were used to film (250Hz) the side-stamp and side-kick of the subjects. Data of the study were analyzed in dependent t-test. The result revealed as following: The striking power of side kick was significantly greater than side-stamp (t=-4.928,p<.05). The movement time of side kick was shorter than side-stamp though not significantly(t=0.551,p>.05). This revealed that side kick was somehow faster than push kicks. The sequence of the joints activated did not conform to the whipping principle. The reason might be the characteristics of the kicks and it was not necessary for the subject to overcome high resistance. The power of side-stamp was generated by flexing and stretching the legs and than pushing the target after contact. Whereas the side kick used the momentum generated by muscles to hit the target.
