Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 教師在職進修資訊碩士學位班 === 92 === The Web-based instructional platform has become another choice for instruction. In the perspective of teaching feedback, the process of Web-based learning is far less effective than real-time communication in the classroom. For the present, most tools that can provide real-time communication need keyboard typing (for example, online chat room, electronic bulletin, etc.). These tools are less direct to elementary school students and are less effective and interesting than those that can provide on-line seeing or talking to each other. This research attempts to add the function of image and acoustic real-time communication to the instructional platform and conduct instructional activities simultaneously. When students are learning online, not only can communication and discussion in the form of written text be conducted, but WebCam can be used to aid communication and discussion. When teaching activities end, a survey on students’opinions should be conducted. The findings indicate that learning that integrates image and acoustic real-time communication is more effective than learning that provides only real-time communication in the form of written text. In opinion survey, most students agree that learning incorporating online real-time communication can elevate their interest and enhance the motivation for learning.
