Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 音樂研究所 === 92 === Almost every high school in Taiwan nowadays has its own concert band composed of students. Besides performing at school for important activities and occasions like presenting awards, concert bands can also be a focus for schools to develop their own characteristics that distinguish themselves from other schools. However, at the present time not only school concert bands are not valued in proper ways but there are also no complete related researches in Chinese on school bands. Therefore, this study is designed to collect as much data and researches on both clarinet teaching and the development of concert bands. At the same time, by gathering tons of relevant teaching experience in Taiwan and also from other countries, including my own teaching experience in clarinet teaching and my observation on school concert bands, implications and suggestions to educators and teachers regarding ways suitable for clarinet teaching in high school concert bands and designs for lesson plans were provided in my research. The framework underlying this study is built on the foundation of clarinet teaching and to conduct an integrated research on evaluation before learning, teaching preparation, basic skills and training methods of performing on the clarinet. Then, ways of clarinet training in high school bands and different editions of fundamental teaching materials for concert bands were analyzed and compared thoroughly. Finally, problems and difficulties encountered in the process of real classroom situation were studied and examined. Followed conclusions and findings were found according to the current situation of high school concert bands development and problems occurred in real classroom clarinet teaching. 1.The highly increasing development of concert bands contributes to the greater population of clarinet learners. 2.Adaptability of musical instruments should be considered first before choosing which instrument one is going to learn. 3.Currently, for high school concert bands, the results of contests and games are still valued much more than the fundamental training. 4.So far in Taiwan, there is still a wild gap between high school concert bands in big cities and high school concert bands in the country. 5.Taiwan can learn a lot from the U.S.A and Japan in the field of concert bands education. Lastly, I would also like to propose some suggestions on clarinet teaching, related education policies and schools.
