The research instrument is the TGMD-2. Subjects are 3rd and 4th graders from three primary schools in Wanluan Hsiang, Pingtung County. There are total 80 subjects, including18 aboriginal students (9 of boys and 9 girls) and 62 non-aboriginal students (30 boys and 32 girls). The average age of them is 8.9 years old. The test scores on all individual items for TGMD-2 and the total raw score will be compared by an independent sampling t-test procedure to see the developmental difference in gross motor movements according to subject’s races. The results are as follow: 1. There is significant difference in the tests on locomotor in TGMD-2 between aboriginal girls and non-aboriginal girls and aboriginal girls do better job than non-aboriginal ones. 2.
