This study compared the problem solving ability of students using the computer simulation module with discussion and experiments and that using traditional lectures and laboratory activities. The results show that the achievement of experimental group is better than the control group. The prior science knowledge and teaching method both showed significant difference on the circuit learning achievement. The significance was not found with gender. In learning the short circuit topic, some students have the misconception that the electric charges flow by the shortest path. For the attitude toward the use of computer module, students think that the module is helpful in circuit conception learning. For the web interface design, students suggested that the pattern can be further easier and clearer. For the learning activity design, more short circuit exercises are needed, and the order of topics can be changed. More guidance is needed on the parallel circuit unit. Regarding the teaching, teachers should pay attention on the thinking method of students; more reasoning and analyzing activities are to be added; short circuit unit can be included in the curriculum. Regarding the future research: circuits can be taught in later grade; the order of units can be reorganized.
