Based on different backgrounds (gender or grade), to explore and analyze the relation between parents’ rearing style and children’s moral judgment and behavior. This study adopts questionnaire method which focuses on students of fifth /sixth grade in Kaohsiung County Elementary School. The total samples are 840 in random; the valid samples are 719 which reaches to 85.6%. The research documents included “ Personal Information Sheet”, “Father and I” (The Rearing Method of Father), “Mother and I” (The Rearing Method of Mother), “ social Problem Questionnaire Sheet”, and “ Elementary School Children Moral Behavior Evaluation Sheet”. The effectual data we got were analyzed by the methods of t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, Stepwise Multiple Regression, which were out of the statistics programming software of “SPSS for Windows” set. The following is the induction on the result of my analysis: 1. Higher-grade children in elementary school can figure out the obvious difference between the rearing styles of father and mother. 2. The moral judgment ability for higher-grade elementary school children is similar to the other children over the past years. 3. Higher-grade elementary school students perform better moral behavior. 4. The parents’ rearing styles can make no difference to the different gender; however, moral judgment and behavior are different from the different gender. 5. Children of elementary school can figure out the different parents’ rearing styles and moral behavior in terms of their different grade; however, moral judgment is the same. 6. There is a close connection between children’s understanding of parents’ rearing styles and their moral behavior performances; however, there is no close relation to moral judgment. 7. The influences of parents rearing styles to elementary school higher-grade children’s moral behavior performances do not matter to either father or mother. 8. The moral behavior does not relate to moral judgment. 9. The backgrounds of higher-grade elementary school students, parents’ rearing styles, and moral judgment do not have close connection to moral behavior. In the long run, I present my suggestions in terms of the result of this study to the educational administration, the school, the teacher, the consular and the future further study. Key words: parents rearing styles, moral judgment, moral behavior. 梁忠銘 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 108 zh-TW
