碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 92 === Abstract When speaking of Wu-Xian Lin, it reminds us of his story collection of "The Little Frog in the Tower" which full of graceful idea and child interest. Wu-Xian Lin engages in educational work for a long time, devotes himself in The creation of children poetry, comment, and language research. He has totally Ten children poetry collections from january 1972 to june 1994: "The Weird Thing", "Singing Along the Stream", "The Little Frog in The Tower", "Children Poetry for new profuse", "Hurry! Open the Window", "Five Factions of Children Poetry", "The Duckling is going to Grandma''s house", "The Collection of Children Poetry", "Poems", "A Little Bit". This research aims at eighty-five chldren poetries in his personal poetry collections of "The Weird Thing", "The Little Frog in The Tower", "Hurry! Open the Window", "The Duckling is going to Grandma''s house" to be the study range for investigating the forum, gathering information, and realizing his creational history in order to find out the characteristics of his work after collation, induction, statistics, and analysis. The characteristics of his children poetry is in wide range of materials, simple language, understandable words, usage of phonology, child care, and clear educational topic. The value of his work represents not only the full knowledge and graceful idea that bring to children, but also precious memories that bring to many more people. This research points at the part of the creativity of children poetry for making discussion. There are six charpters. Charpter one is introduction, introducing the motivation and purpose of this research. Charper two is Wu-Xian Lin and children literature, including a Wu-Xian Lin''s brief introduction, creation history of children literature, and concept of children literature. Chapter three is the analysis of Wu-Xian Lin''s children poetry, first introducing his children poetry, then analying poetry materials and catagories. Charpter four is the beauty of Wu-Xian Lin''s children poetry language, analying the language of his poetry including simple and understandable language, imago language, and music language. Charper five is the presentation of Wu-Xian Lin''s children poetry, analying his rhetoric techques, poetry formation, and poetry permutation. Charper six is the research result and suggestion, clear out the style, characteristics, developing histroy of his creativity, and the achievement of Wu-Xian Lin''s children poetry according to the analysis from charper three and four.
