However, most chivalrous novels have longer length and in the contend contains gratitude, grudges, affection, hatred, and love between man and woman, which are not appropriate for young readers to read. Thus, some novelists start trying to write juvenile chivalrous novel that creates only for young readers, and since that, juvenile chivalrous novel has become a new type of juvenile novel in recently years. Bing Ger’s works are the most van guarded and representative among juvenile chivalrous novels. Bing Ger stated earlier that he would like to be a children’s litterateur who creates juvenile chivalrous novel only for the youth. In his works, “The Eating Boss” and “The Short Husband” are two novels that include fictions, fairy tales, and short stories altogether. Contend of stories is funny and thoughtful with propriety and leisure writing skill. Moreover, the ending with unique style always brings readers into surprise. Thus, he kept on working to break traditional rules of horizontally description, then finished four juvenile chivalrous novels: “The Claw of A Silver Monkey”, “The Wart Virago”, “Bloody Coral”, and “Big Foot Woman”, in which he make Seventh Chivalry as an honest man to run through the whole stories. In the four novels, every chapter has a complete description of new experiences by Seventh Chivalry. Every chapter can be read independently due to details that happened in the story is not arranged in series. Every chapter seems a living play let of vagabond life that vividly presented in front of the readers. As a matter of course, that increases the interest of reading. Bing Ger’s juvenile chivalrous novel is not only being fond by young readers, but being chosen as “well read books”. We can see the representative characteristics of his works from this point of view. Therefore, this essay will take Bing Ger’s juvenile chivalrous novel as an example to first discuss the origin of chivalrous novel and the reason of its popularity in order to understand why Bing Ger started to create juvenile chivalrous novel. Second, analyze the characters and characteristics of actors in Bing Ger’s juvenile chivalrous novel to find the differences when compare with those in Bing Ger’s adult’s chivalrous novel. Finally, discuss the style and allegory of Bing Ger’s juvenile chivalrous novel and clarify the expectation of future development for juvenile chivalrous novel.
