Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 92 === The study aims at probing the progress of drama education courses and teacher- training program in Shiny Shoes Children’s Theatre (SSCT) from its history in order to make a useful suggestion for future drama education related programs. The result indicated that applying different drama education theories and methods from abroad such as: Creative Drama (CD), Drama-in-Education (DIE), Theatre-in-Education (TIE) and Multiple Intelligence concepts etc., have influenced SSCT in different phases. In addition, the Ministry of Education promulgated a new policy that formally includes drama as the performing art that combing with Music and Visual Art in to a course of Arts and Humanities in Taiwan’s nine-year mandatory education system from March 2000. The study discovers that this government policy has also made a new aspect on devising the curriculum for both drama education and teacher-training programs in Shiny Shoes since it makes drama into daily school curriculum, which raises the level of education purpose of applying drama. Teachers now need to learn the strategies of drama in education more than ever. The study is divided into six chapters: introduction, the development of SSCT, teacher-training program in early learning education, teacher-training program in primary education, teacher-training program in professional drama teachers and conclusion. Overall, the author tries to make useful suggestions for devising future drama education programs to benefit teachers from collecting and analyzing every rationale of course designing, content and the actual conducted process of all the drama education related training programs in SSCT and draws a conclusion from the record.
