But, on the other hand, ghost stories are also ill reputed of their description of horror and sex. These kinds of stories were accepted from children to adults because of its fantastic, unique, unexpected but controversial contents. We can hardly overlook the influence of ghost stories. These stories deserve a number of in-depth analyses. Most of ghost stories which children read in Taiwan are translated versions of Chinese classical fictions and narrated text of temporary writers. There are some motif concerns about moral education, for example, story of judgment after dead. Children like ghost stories but the quantity of these texts, compare to comic or picture book, are not abundant supplied. Therefore, talented writers are solicited to narrated good quality of ghost stories for children’s blessing. The purpose of this study is to explore texts of ghost stories, came to press for children, to know how cultural context involved and how interesting contents are arranged in these stories. This paper contains five chapters. First chapter describes motivation and background, purpose, literature review, methodology, limits of this study. Chapter two explores ghost culture which contains origin of ghost, image of ghost, styles of ghost stories. Besides, how we can make use of ghost stories on education. Chapter three presents Chinese classical fiction translated versions and temporary narrated text and analyze the culture meaning involved. Chapter four explores interesting elements of ghost stories: absurd and marvelous, farcical and satirical, warm and touching, tactful and adventurous, mystical and exciting.
