碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林學研究所 === 92 === Abstract Shangshueitian is a taiyal aboriginal tribe located at Shienju Shien. Cause a lot of people to pay attention and discussion because of the event to seal a mountain pass. The major economic property is agriculture. They improved surroundings with the way of community construction and developed ecotourism to add earings in recent years. Through the effort of communion and neighborhood organizations, the inhabitants use their local knowledge to develop and construct the whole environment. In the study, author planned to use the ways of ethnography, participant observation and interview to research the current development in shangshueitian. The study revealed （1）from the aspect of organized system to see : The communion and local leader are main force to drive community work. The conflict of election and personal, economic interest influence the collective behaviors. The action to continue is depending on enthusiastic leader, the government subvention and force of family. （2）from the aspect of geographic location to see : These organizations of push community construction or in opposing positions are through different leaders negotiate with neighborhood, families and neighbors to take shape. （3）from the aspect of economic benefit to see : Include tribe and communion benefit priority, organization benefit priority, and individual benefit priority. （4）from the aspect of knowledge system to see : Using knowledge include ecological environment, traditional skill and technique, culinary art and tourism, and high tech. These attitudes are the most important thing in community developing and can result in people separated from others. The way to combine public feeling is communication and inhabitants’ participation, and then inhabitants will find the direction to cooperate and the way to go.
