碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工業管理系 === 92 === Nowadays, due to the rising and flourishing of the Internet and multimedia technologies, E-learning has brought dramatic impact to our life and education alike. The decisive factor of development of E-Learning industry is learning materials or learning content. However, the ability to specify and enforce digital rights is crucial to the success of E-learning now and future. Digital Rights Management（DRM）plays a key role of digital content protection during the learning object lifecycle time and the digital supply chain. In this paper, the aim of this thesis is to propose integrated system mechanism with reusability and interoperability between Digital Rights Management system and E-learning platforms, such as Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Content Management System (LCMS), and Learning Object Repository (LOR). The concept of Rights Enabled Learning Object (RELO) is the key to solve the problem of implementation of Digital Rights Management on E-Learning platforms. At last, the author proposes an idea to develop the XrML license editor prototype for content owners and distributors to generate their rights metadata and implements it.
