Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 92 === Nonuniform transmission lines (NTLs) hade been studied for several decades. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the characteristics of NTLs by different approach and explore their applications. The novel approach consists of discrete signal processing (DSP) techniques, transfer functions in the Z domain and optimization algorithms. In this thesis, We select a first-order microwave differentiator, a second-order microwave differentiator and a microwave integrator as examples to illustrate the validity of the approach. Of all the circuits in the thesis are implemented by using microstrip lines. The design process is finished by using optimization algorithms to tune the values of characteristic impedances of each transmission-line section. It reveals that the character of transfer function will follow the system function. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical values.
