Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 92 === One of the Taipower’s Power plants located at center of Taiwan, which main transformers breakdown has occurred several Abstract One of the Taipower’s Power plants (Named Power plant A), which main transformers breakdown has occurred several times since Power plant has been running 12 years ago. Beside this, the breakdown period is more and more short. After through real acquired surge waveforms at GIS and transformers primary side to analyze surge parameters that showed surges type was very fast transient over voltage (VFTO) and contained a high peak value and fast rise time characteristic. For the case, the study developed a VFTO on line synchronous measuring technique to acquire VFTO waveforms then analyzed the phenomena of the operation of GIS. For avoid VFTO impact transformers to cause breakdown and reduce working loss, the study setup a line impedance stabilization network (LISN) structure at 345kV side to suppress VFTO and to analyze the suppressed effect. LISN structure has been setup about two years till right now, which cause transformers running smooth and created huger benefit.
