It is not only involved with a great deal of calculation, but also crossed multiple disciplines. Due to this reason, the multi-discipline problems can not be handled by only single group (or system). It need to be decomposed into several subsystems, and dealt by the teams consisted of experts in general. Taking advantage of the synergy is the mark of a good design but the web of interactions is difficult to untangle. If the system is broken into a suitable decomposition architecture, the synergy of the system will perform well. Generally speaking, there are five types of the decomposition in the multi-disciplinary design optimization, including MDF, IDF, CO, CSSO and BLISS. The same problem is broken into different decomposition architectures. The optimization results will be different because of their different process and communication of the variables. In this thesis, we took the bridge design for example, and used the appropriate softwares to help us in optimizing the system based on the five types of decomposition. In conclusion, we established the criteria for evaluating the five decomposition architectures after analyzing and comparing with each other carefully. 呂守陞 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
