碩士 === 實踐大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 92 === Since 1991, the government passed the law of establishing private banks , over banking induces competition violent , all kinds of type price competition are appeared , not only erode the banks’ profitability , but also affect placement ability serious ; especially , these days , many banks in order to preserve the financial structure well and promote the assets transparency , write off dead loan and dispose of the bad creditor''s right , result the business are operated difficultly and arduously , the banks’ operation are important for the community. The study including an analysis basis of financial ratios、factor analysis in the representative financial index , and canonical correlation analysis conclude the correlation with major factor and profitability index、operating ability index . This study finds the following facts: 1.The financial indicators of operating performance , includes earning and efficiency , capital adequacy , growth , liquidity , assets structure. 2.In short-term, the operating performance is not clear difference between new banks and old banks. 3.In long-term, the operating performance is not clear difference between new banks and old banks. 4.The ratio of capital and risky assets is high , the profitability is higher. 5.The operating expenses ratio is high , but the profitability is low.
