In 1993, Cable TV Law was approved. Officially, Media industry in Taiwan entered into the intense competitive era. No matter manufacture, commerce, political circles, or ordinary people, they all have the need to obtain information of various aspects rapidly today. Among all forms of mass media, television news has gradually become the more important and faster information source for all walks of life. Its significance has surpassed newspaper and radio, people rely more on it to look for information. However, since many players want to own greater market share in the business of television news, how to maintain competitive advantages, draw up the splendid effective management strategy, have become the critical issues that six main players in the market concern. Besides, they also are important research topics in the intellectual world. I hope the findings of my research would be valuable references for the players in the market to make strategies to reinforce the competitive strength and benefits the following researchers engaging in related issues. The findings show that, in the perspective of competitive advantages, each television news channel presents unique competitive advantages in terms of the differences in its development time, enterprise resources, and management performances. In the view of taking "To promote the viewing rate" as the highest goal, this research suggests television news channels to adopt four business strategies in order. They are "Synergy" strategy, "Competitive advantages" strategy, "Scope" strategy, "Resources" strategy.
