First of all, we have to complete a pair of data gloves which can match our requirements. It is very expensive of data gloves in the business market generally. We designed a pair of data gloves with USB interface, which can display 3D tracking of hand movements on the monitor. The USB data gloves design includes the hardware and the software. The hardware is designed based on the micro-controller. A chip pic16F877 with built-in A/D converter was adopted to measure the data of gesture variation. The acquired data can be transmitted to PC through USB interface with the help of a USB2.0 controller chip. Once PC receives the data of hand movements, 3D animation for hand tracking can be displayed immediately by the software integration of VB, EON Studio and 3D studio MAX. 陳世中 2004 學位論文 ; thesis zh-TW |
