Therefore, the object of this paper is divided into four fields: 1.discussion of job choices 2.discussion of job stress 3.discussion of coping stress 4. discussion of job aspiration. The research method employed in this study was qualitative approach through interviewing twenty-one social workers in six city/county — Taipei county, Taipei city, Taichung county, Taichung county, Chanh-hua county, Kaohsiuing city, who work for related family violence protection affairs in social administration organizations of public sector. After data collected from in-depth interview, use these data to analyze and draw conclusions. The findings of the study are as follows: 1.The factors that social workers enter into this working field of family violence prevention: The primary reasons that social workers choose family violence prevention as their jobs can be divided into six parts- internal interest choice, external favorable choice, destiny-arranged choice, limited choice, unexpected choice and have no choice, among them favorable choice is the majority. 2.Job stress: A) Source of job stress: There are three major sources of job stress —practical job stress, organizational job stress and environmental stress, among which of them organizational job loading stress is the majority. B) Effect of effect of job stress: stress is more negative for social workers in their daily life and work. C) The stage of stress: unfamiliar period→unstable period→adaptation period→(settled, leaving period) 3.Coping strategy of stress: Major method that coping with job stress can be taken into four sectors- source of stress, source of away from stress, emotional letting out and looking for social support. Social support is the major method and support from supervisor is the most effective way. 4.Job aspiration: Job stress is the major reason that cause social workers quit their job and the will for social workers of domestic violence prevention to retain the post is low. Finally, researcher is based on the above findings of study to turn out suggestions into four parts, which can be viewed as personal, institutional educational and policy aspect.
