碩士 === 淡江大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 92 === The financial holding company, in order to ask the purpose of omni-directional developing, reduce the operating cost and expand market channel etc., seek the way one after another and merge other financial institutions, expect to occupy a tiny space in the holding domain of finance with keen competition. It is the most important subject on the management tactics of financial holding company, as the financial domain is reformed, how does the financial holding company set their own competition advantage to integrate the whole source effectively, develop the new products and set up one''s own key competitiveness progressively. Because of above-mentioned motives, this research hopes to reach the following projects: 1. Understand the development present situation of the financial holding company. 2. Analyze the problem that the financial holding company manages and faces. 3. Analyze the factor that the financial management tactics and the key of holding company success via the questionnaire. 4. Find out the financial environment at present to offer the reference for government and financial circles to makes the finance manages policy in the future. Carry on questionnaire investigation to the 500 staff of 14 domestic financial holding companies (including the subsidiary), and analyze in depth and compare the materials according to 327 questionnaires retrieved, we divide into three extensive companies in accordance with the scale of the assets, respectively, the assets of the large-scale financial holding company exceed one trillion Yuan of the new Taiwan dollar, the assets of the medium-sized financial holding company lie between 500 billion to one trillion Yuan, and small-scale financial holding company of the scale of the assets under 500 billion Yuan. We put out the issues that are relatively worth probing into, and sum up the management tactics and key factors that succeed of the financial holding company. The result of study is as follows: 1. Financial holding company of different assets scale will be different because of the operation tactics, way to organize operation and corporate culture in the management tactics. Among them, in three factors of the operation tactics, there is difference of showing only in efficiency. In four factors of operation way of organizing, only “changing actively type leaders” have difference of showing. In three factors of the corporate culture, there is difference of showing both to “the paying attention to ethics type” and “the harmonious group type”. 2. Financial holding company of different assets scale in the key factor that succeeds will be differently on innovation ability, administration mechanism of the company and ability to lead the tactics. Among them, only the ability to lead tactics affair violent to “establish and organize the developing direction with the development tactics” and “Encourage the staff to study and reach the goal”.
