Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 92 === The Study on Job Satisfaction of Elementary School Administrators in Taoyuan County Abstract To investigate various situations on job satisfaction of administrators in the elementary school was the main purpose of this research. The study was made to assess the relationships exist between job satisfaction and selected organizational variables, such as gender, age, marriage, education level, seniority, school scale and school type. This paper also examined the projective efficacy on the job satisfaction of individuals holding administrative positions. This paper was conducted with an well-developed survey - “Ouestionnaire on job satisfaction of elementary school administrators in Taoyuan County”. Through stratified random sampling, the selected subjects including 624 elemenyary school administrators from 45 public elementary schools in Taoyuan County. Among returned questionnaires, 545 were valid with a 87.33﹪valid percentage. This analysis consisted of survey respondents to gain more in-depth insights into questionnaire reponses as well as to clarify responses with examples (descriptive statistics, t—test, one-way ANOVA, the Scheffe’ approach afterward and stepwise multi-regression analysis). The conclusion which found in this study whose composition take into account the following factors : 1.In overall aspect : School administractors had higher level of job satisfaction. 2.The effects on job satisfaction : nature of the work, interpersonal relationship, salary and fringe benefits, work enviroment, promotion scheme and leadership. Among those influences, in the areas of nature of the work leaded to higher levels of school administractor on job satisfaction. 3.Through individual background variables - the gender, age, marriage, education level, seniority, seniority, position, school scale and school location, the gender was most strongly associated with conspicuous differences between effects of job satisfaction. 4.Five factors of job satisfaction : salary and fringe benefits, leadership, nature of the work, promotion scheme, and interpersonal relationship.The salary and fringe benefits was the optimal projective-efficacy on the job satisfaction. Base on the results of this study, to make some suggestions for educational administration , elementary school administration and future study.
