碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術學系美術創作研究所 === 92 === Due to my family background and personal experiences, I am attentive to all sorts of social phenomena which are influenced by Japanese culture. Therefore, the topic of this paper is relevant with Japanese culture. “Bubble Task Force” and “Ass Hole-fairs in the backyard” are my latest brainchildren in which models disguise as various roles. “Bubble Task Force” probes into the phenomenon of irrational copy of Japanese culture and the popular photo stickers. A relaxing and playful touch permeates the entire work, featuring the continuous interaction between the surroundings and the virtual, confused temporal and spatial sequences, role play etc. so as to scrape together the reality and the real oneself. The ongoing “Ass Hole-fairs in the backyard” delves into the emotional aspect and needs of oneself, gradually deviating from the reality. Thanks to the advance of computing technology, a virtual stage is created, depicting the author’s version of the brave new world. Therein the author and his associates mischievously interpret characters from some household folk lords. They seem to willfully enjoy the virtual environment built upon the re-arrangement of real objects in an imaginary sequence.
