Also, the research is focused onto the variances of business performance under different global strategies adopted and we can further propose the optimal prototypes of global strategies. The aims of this research are: 1. to deeply understand the considerations and issues for various global strategies; 2. to investigate the business performance variances of various types of global strategies; 3. to realize the consideration issue of local business for “Global Strategy” and “Westward Strategy” and also propose the offer for the academic and governmental projection and investment for reference. Although the globalization issue has been widely discussed, there is still no any definite conclusion till now. Despite the academic researching materials locally or internationally, there is still no any generalized agreement existing. This research is included with the well known academic research viewpoints. As for the proportion of “Westward Strategy”, our research can be described mainly on the basis of local research documents due to few international researches existing, to give the deeper investigation herein. After the information gathering, in order to further make the analogy for various global strategies and its difference from the “Westward Strategy”, this research also focused onto the grouping strategy with the expectation that by means the features of grouping strategy, we can make use the variance analysis of business performance to realize the variances within different strategies. As for the similarity and difference between Global Strategy and Westward Strategy, this research is by means of individual interview and the reference from the research materials related to the Westward Strategy, to propose that the Westward Strategy is actually a certain proportion of the Global Strategy. Thus, this research puts the Westward Strategy into the category of Global Strategy. Also, form the individual interview and all scientific documents, we find that it is unavailable for scientific observation in terms of strategic aspects. Thus, within this research, the favorable observation method is to view the Westward Strategy as an independently single strategy with the convenience that it can be easily compared with the business performance variance with other Global Strategy formed by other aspects. The methods for researching herein are 2 ways including Questionnaire and Individual Interview. Within the questionnaire operations, this research, after the scientific documenting investigation and individual interviewing mentioned in the chapter 2, we deduce the research framework for this article. Immediately following that, we continue to confirm various strategy styles by means of strategic aspects. Thereafter, through the way of questionnaire, we make the measurement against the strategic variables. After the questionnaire correspondence received, by using “Factor Analysis” with the focus onto strategic variables, we reduce the quantity of strategic variables with 4 major factors extracted finally. After reaching these 4 major factors, we further adopt the “Cluster Analysis” to classify all the suppliers, namely the respondents of questionnaire, into 4 groups of “Leading Key Technology Group”, “Business Expansion Group”, “Market Specific Division Orientation Group” and ”Low Cost & Conservative Business Group”, totally 4 types. In order to understand the variances of business performances within the said 4 groups and Westward Strategy, this research is finally adopted with the “Nonparametric Methods” to respectively grouping and examining whether the various grouping strategies will come with remarkable variances onto the relevant aspects. Also, we can find out the favorable strategies for business to reach better business performance. After the experimental examination for business performance, we find that on the whole, the “Market Specific Division Orientation Group” is availably reaching the best performance with the most promising growing development admired by the investors. On the other hand, we also find that there is no remarkable variance existing within the “Business Expansion Group” and “Westward Strategy”. Thus, the strategic features of “Business Expansion Group” and “Westward Strategy” could be the same. We hereby propose that the “Westward Strategy” can be viewed as the “Business Expansion Group” with the resultant trend of their Global Strategies. As for the method of individual interviewing, this research is mainly aimed the deep understanding of the consideration and issue related to various types of Global Strategy. Hence, the interview details and case analysis are listed within the appendix. Finally within this research, according to experimental research and case interview, we respectively submit our viewpoints and offer for the business institutes and government.
