However, Lu and Chang (1998) believe that the value of photochemical indicator varies from areas and environments. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the value of photochemical indicator under different circumstances. This research utilizes the 56 VOCs observation from the photochemical assessment monitoring stations (PAMS) and atmosphere ozone observation to verify Taiwan Air Quality Model (TAQM). The verified TAQM are used to simulate 25 kinds of emission decrement for NMHC and NOx, so as to judge the value of the photochemical indicators in the middle part of Taiwan. Then, the value is future used to analyze the relationship between the indicator and ozone susceptibility, and ozone decrement controlled the direction. Later carried on the comparative analysis of controlling the direction of ozone decrement of the photochemical indicators result and SPM simulation result again. In addition, we will use the observation data of PAMS to analyze the air mass ages and the main VOCs species about produced the ozone. This research spends fives days from October 19, 2002 to October 25, 2002 to do the simulation. In terms of model verification, it already has some preliminary data from monitoring. Among the errors of VOCs verification, it is apparent that the errors in HC8 and OL2 in the Tsao-Town monitoring station are higher than others. In terms of the result of definition photochemical indicator, the definite value of indicator is slightly higher than the situation of foreign countries. Comparing the photochemical indicators with SPM simulation result, we found out that the two results of ozone control direction rely mainly on VOC-limited in the middle part of Taiwan. In terms of the exploration of the result of photochemical indicator, we use the following four ratios:including “m, p-Xylene/Ethylbenzene”、“o-Xylene/Ethylbenzene”、“1,2,3-Trimethylbenzene/n-Propylbenzen” and“ o-Ethyltoluene/ n-Propylbenzene”, to illustrate the aging of the air mass of VOCs, and to make sure the transmission behavior of pollutants among monitoring stations.
