This study particularly focused on the major issues: how the youngsters learned and adapted to their families and schools; how they developed their self-concepts and self-adjustment encountering their cross-cultured parents. Qualitative research methods were adopted in this study. Qualitative methods employed in this study included interview, participant’s observation, and Kinet-Family-Drawings in order to further understand these children’s self cognitions as well as the inside interaction among their family members. Four conclusions were drown as follows: 1. Multinational-Marriage Women’s (MMW’s) children in Taiwan were found to possess appropriate cognitive abilities and naive minds, just like their Taiwanese classmates. 2. MMW played conservative roles to be a good housewife and hard-working mother; they also provide sufficient love for their children. 3. There is pure and deep love between MMW and their children, never less than any other Taiwanese peers. However, in this society, MMW were usually labeled and gradually placed with a barricade between them and their children. 4. The improvement of multicultural recognition in this society was identified to be more crucial to help MMW and their children succeed in educational settings and their future career. Two suggestions were finally provided on the bases of the results and conclusions: 1. In consideration of the rapidly growth of MMW’s children in Taiwan, it is important to provide necessary consulting services to elementary teachers and students in order to make them accept and interact with MMW’s children in this multicultural environment. 2. It is also necessary to enhance these MMW’s social skills and resource to jump into Taiwan society, and then their children may learn and grow safely and soundly.
