Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 文化資產維護系碩士班 === 92 === Colored drawing is a distinguishing feature of China. It is a national craft, which combines paint skill and the art of painting and calligraphy. Most colored drawings of Taiwan belong to Su style; in another word, they belong to southern form of China. Their picture pattern, subject matter and skill all have obvious characteristics. However, Taiwan has been rapidly urbanized in recent decades. The ancient buildings disappear gradually, and the skill of classical colored painting fails to be handed down. On the other hand, the Han people have the religion habit to burn incense to express respect for their ancestor. Some researches have shown that the burning process is likely to produce traced pollutants. These pollutants include plenty rings aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), toluene, benzene, carbon oxide, nitrogen oxide, oxysulfide. Some pollutants are strong oxide agents, which react with moisture to produce acidity erosion; Moreover Taiwan is a hot and humid island. These factors are rather unfavorable for the conservation of colored painting! The custom of burning incense will let the colored paintings of local temple encounter a long-term effect of granular and gas form pollutants. This will cause a great problem for the conservation of colored painting. In regard to this problem, we will investigate the skill and material of colored painting, and survey the pollutants of burning incense and their influence on the colored painting. This study will also conclude the conservation method for colored painting. This study is very important in terms of the conservation of colored painting and national craft!
