碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 成人及繼續教育研究所 === 93 === Abstract Investigated were the planner’s status judgment ability, professional competence and training needs in planning continuing education programs for nursing through literature analysis and survey on planners working at domestic medical centers with the questionnaire, Program Planner Training Needs Assessment for Nursing Continuing Education, developed in accordance with the Adult Education Planner Expertise Survey (Wei, 2001). Of the total of 230 copies distributed, 211 valid copies were recovered (91.73%), 16 incomplete, and the actually valid copies were 195 (84.78%). Data were analyzed with t-Test, ANOVA and correlation analysis; and finds indicated: (1) background variables of planners affect status judgment ability: (a) age: planners at age 41-50 make better judgments; (b) education: planners holding a master’s or higher degree make better judgments: (c) working experience: planners with 21-25 years of working experience make better judgments; (d) position: nursing supervisors make better judgments; and (e) advanced study: planners taking advanced study make better judgments; (2) background variables of planners affect the performance of professional competency; (3) professional competence and training needs are significantly correlated; and (4) the training needs of planners include marketing planning, situation analysis, program design, program evaluation, needs assessment and market analysis.
