碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 高齡者教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this research was to investigate the elders participation of Chiayi County senior centers and their learning needs, which was meant to study the related elements for the learning need, so as to provide the reference of planning educational courses to the relevant parties. In order to reach the goal, the questionnaire was used for data collection, that reliability and validity were remarkable .The task was along with 279 samples, including the elders in Chiayi County senior centers of MeiShan, LongSing , Sichang , Anjiao , BeiHua ,Zihyun and Dalin. The conclusions was made by analytical and statistics as follows: 1. The elders who participate Chiayi County senior centers are female,70-74 yeas old,illiteracy,good physical situation,married,lived with a spouse、sons and daughters and had good economic situation. 2.All of learning needs, elders most prefer learning need of interpersonal relationship，less on learning need of leisure. 3.90% of elders think to join Chiayi County senior centers’activities to be good for himself. 4. The elements of promoting elders to join Chiayi County senior centers’ activities are diversification and perplexity. 5. Different sex, educational level, economical and living situation etc. had significantly difference on learning needs. According to the conclusions above, the research provided suggestions to governmental agency, elders' educational institute and the participator of learning activity.
