The process of synthesizing Fe@Pd core-shell nanostructures was different from the process describing above. At first, we synthesized iron nanoparticles by thermal decomposition of iron pentacarbonyl, using n-octanol as solvent. And then, we injected palladium acetylacetonate and CTAB to the concentrated solution of iron nanoparticles, using dry o-xylene as solvent. The metallic palladium deposited on the surface of iron nanoparticles by the reduction of of Pd(Ⅱ) with Fe. In addition, we also prepared CoPt nanostructures by reduction of platinum acetylacetonate and thermal decomposition of dicobalt octacarbonyl, using n-octylamine as solvent. We examined the morphologies of nanostructures by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and used energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS), electron diffraction(ED), electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis(ESCA), X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) ,and flameless atomic absorption spectroscopy(FAAS) to identify the composition of nanostructrued materials. We also used superconducting quantum interference devicer(SQUID) to examine the magnetic properties of magnetic nanostructured materials Kai-Ming Chi 吉凱明 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 93 zh-TW
