The Gold(III) chloride is used as the precursor which later redures as metal gold(zero)on a carbon substrute. The size and the dispersion of the gold nanoparticles on the carbon substrute are studied at different pulse-electrodeposited time. The cathodic reduction of oxygen has been carried out using the carbonsubstrute deposited with gold nano particles. The electrocatalytic reduction of oxygen is also carried out using micro-particle on the carbon substrute and the results are compared with those using nano-sized particles. The nano-sized particles have the better electrocatalytic activities than those of micro-sized particle. The results show the potential application of the direct reduction of oxygen using nano-sized gold particles. The respect of the fabricated of metal nanoparticles, We use the Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS ), and to the field emission gun scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM ) to observes surface the distribution of the particles at the substrate and the particle size of the nanoparticle gold.
