The analytical results could help us understand the bidding behaviors. The progressing trend of auction community we observed can provide improving suggestions to the auction managers. We took the members of Yahoo! Kimo Auction as the research object and developed a program to collect the histrical records of trades between bidders in Yahoo! Kimo Auction. First, we randomly sampled 30 different merchandise categories for topology analysis. Then, we analyzed the auction community from two aspects: “small-world network” and “scale-free network”. The results present some trading behaviors of B2C commerce in the auction community besides the C2C commerce. And, by the results of regression analysis in topological parameters, we suggested the auction managers to improve the progression of auction community.
