The main advantage is the possibility of operating the compressor with an increased angular velocity of rotors and obtain a higher productivity since the compressor does not have a link that performs a reciprocating motion that is usual for a conventional compressor. However, the application of a screw compressor requires the conjugation of the surfaces of the driving and driven rotor to avoid the gas. For the same reason the generation of the rotors must be accomplished with a high precision. This thesis study an fitting algorithm of rotor profile and work simulation of the twin-screw compressors. The novel method which is accumulative chord cubic parametric spline curve was used to design the female and male profiles, and on the basis of this method, a mathematical model was built to calculate the volume change rate of the gear lobe. Moreover, this results will be used to predict the dynamic quality of compressor running. The computing procedure of rotor profile design for twin-screw compressor has been. The calculation of contact line for the tools of grinding can be preformed. Using the same method, a convenient and precision grinding wheel profile will be decide. It has been offered to the research and manufacture of twin-screw compressor. It is also suitable for other screw rod machinery too.
