The effect of the addition of the SiO2-m on the properties of the composites has been studied. The results indicated that with less than 1wt% of SiO2-m content, the as-prepared SiO2-m-containing PI composites exhibited enhancement on the thermal stability, dimensional stability and reduction of capacity of water absorption with slightly reduction of Dk value.
