In this study, we will use the image enhancement method to promote the quality of the image which displayed on the general VDT. The main method will use the adaptive local contrast method and the genetic algorithm method in this study. By this way, we will find out the best of parameter to enhance the digital images and use the computer aided method to prove this enhance method. We will also discussed the medical VDT, general VDT and the enhanced image display on the general VDT, and calculated the effect of the display media of a Mammogram on microcalcification-diagnostic performance(ROC) of radiologists and technician. The result indicated that the adaptive local contrast method could enhance the digital images effective, and promote the Mammogram on microcalcification-diagnostic performance of radiologists and technician. The different media has a significantly effect (F (2, 6) = 21.33, p<0.05) on the Physicians’ and the technicians’ diagnosis performance under different media. Therefore, we do the Duncan grouping to test those data. The diagnosis performance under BARCO and the enhanced image display on the general VDT were better than general VDT.
